New book in the works: The Night Chemist !

A princess by birth but a chemist by trade, Aylin Aga must wed her estranged former lover or risk the tenuous peace, so she accepts her duty until a battle for succession and an unforeseen love force her to reconcile who she wants to be with who she has to become.

Back in May 2025, I had a random dream about a love triangle between a princess, a widowed prince, and the sexy male nanny looking after the prince's children. I told a few friends about it, and they encouraged me to turn that random dream into a book. Many rewrites and edits later, now I'm querying a 109k-word adult romantasy novel rooted in Turkic mythology that makes use of my doctoral research into warrior women among steppe nomads! (sorta)

I put together a playlist that corresponds to the book to capture the vibes as the plot progresses. I refuse to use Spotify because its policies are horrendous for the actual *human* musicians on there, so instead I made the playlist in Apple Music. Which is only marginally better, but I do what I can. Also keep in mind...I'm a metalhead, so my definition of "vibes" might be a bit different than you expect for the average romantasy. But hey, there's a lot of Sleep Token.
