I’m going to try to make an update on a weekly basis, so we’ll see what day ends up working best. In the meantime, consider this the start of a good (and hopefully, consistent) thing. It was a busy weekend for me, spent with family and friends, and thus, with little time for writing. Nonetheless, I was able to crank out another ten pages in Hidden on Friday, so we are still covered there! I’m almost done filling in the blanks between the bones for chapter two, and then all I have to do is complete that same process for the remaining ten chapters...which, although it seems daunting when phrased that way, is really not so bad. The bones are all already there: I’m just letting the rest of the words fall into place.
This picture is actually from a few months ago, but I don’t have any photos from the weekend worth sharing, and all my other recent photos are either already uploaded or feature chickens. While I think my five fluffy little dinosaurs and their assorted antics (chiefly, roosting on various parts of me) are adorable, the sentiment does not appear to be widely shared. Thus, I’m afraid you’ll just have to settle for a completely unrelated photograph of myself and my husband at our most recent formal event. Yes, he rocked the kilt. Yes, I think it’s frickin awesome.
Now that the hectic weekend is nearing an end, I finally have some time to myself again, and so I have sat myself down with a pot of tea in my preferred writing location.
