Upcoming QuestPit Event

So on the 29th I’ll be throwing my proverbial hat into the proverbial pitching ring by participating in the QuestPit event on social media. I deleted my Twitter account after Elon took it over (ew), which is where the pitch event originated, but it looks like you can do the whole QuestPit thing on Instagram, Bluesky, & Threads now, too. So here’s hoping someone actually bites on my pitch. Querying sucks, as many aspiring trad-pub authors before me have said and many more after me will say. It’s a game of constant rejection, and you better have a thick skin. I’m not sure how popular QuestPit is—or how reputable all the agents who look at everyone’s pitches are—but I figure it’s worth a try. If any of the interested (assuming there are any lol) agents look like they might be from red flag agencies, simple solution: I won’t actually query them.

So yeah. I’ll be posting my fun little agent guide slides on all my social media accounts with the QuestPit hashtags so I can participate, along with who I am sure will be hundreds if not thousands of other aspiring authors. Here’s how YOU, my lovely faithful readers (all three of you) can help out: like, comment, otherwise interact with my post so I can have some actual visibility. With so many other aspiring trad-pub authors fighting for a shot, there’s a good chance I’ll be drowned out, and the agents looking through the submissions won’t even get eyes on my pitch in the first place. Thus, I would greatly appreciate it with my whole heart (what little heart I have lol) if you would interact with my posts on 29 April! Thanks & much love.
